INVICTA is an independent conservation, non-profit organisation determined to save wildlife and protect the natural world. We aim to work alongside well-established charities in Africa, providing funding for their conservation efforts, as well as, educating local communities.

Richie was raised in Spain before leaving at the age of 16 to join the British Royal Marine Commandos. Inspired by his mother’s charitable work, he established his first charity initiative, Help Africa, in 2009.

His career as a private security businessman and consultant took him across more than 15 African countries, where he developed a deep appreciation for the continent’s people, wildlife, and natural heritage. In 2017, he sold his consultancy business, allowing him and his family to dedicate much of their time to conservation and community-focused projects. It was during this period that Invicta Wildlife Foundation was born.

A keen adventurer, Richie has also founded several successful businesses and charitable organisations. His expertise lies in creating sustainable, self-sufficient charitable initiatives by combining conservation and community impact with sound business principles. With a strong background in business, philanthropy, and conservation, Richie is passionate about developing projects that deliver lasting benefits for both people and the environment.

Lauren McEnery was born and raised in Empangeni, South Africa, where she developed a deep connection with nature and wildlife. Through regular visits to South Africa’s leading conservation areas and wildlife rehabilitation centres, she cultivated a lifelong passion for African wildlife and conservation.

Driven by an interest in environmental law, Lauren studied and practised law in Durban before marrying Richie. Her commitment to creating meaningful impact extends beyond conservation; she has also managed two humanitarian organisations.

She has extensive experience in community-conservation coexistence initiatives across South Africa and works closely with on-the-ground conservation organisations to assess and support impactful projects.
Lauren’s strengths lie in event management, operational coordination, corporate sponsorship, and grant funding. She plays a key role across several Invicta projects, combining her passion for conservation, community development, and sustainable impact.

Sarah is a British conservation wildlife artist with a global audience and a deep passion for protecting the natural world. Holding a degree in Zoology and a Master’s in Conservation, she combines academic knowledge with years of travel and field experience to capture the unique character and spirit of the wildlife she portrays.

As a conservation advocate, Sarah leads conservation-focused travel experiences across Africa, connecting travellers with meaningful, on-the-ground conservation initiatives and the people working to protect wildlife and wild spaces.

Sarah also leads Invicta Art, a project dedicated to raising funds for conservation through the promotion and sale of original artwork and prints by renowned wildlife artists and photographers. Through her artwork, social media presence, and public engagement, she helps raise awareness and inspire support for conservation efforts around the world.
